Job Responsibilities: Assisting in performing hydrology and hydraulic design; structural design; geotechnical investigations and analyses; mechanical system analysis; and drafting using AutoCAD Reviewing construction plans and technical specifications Drafting, compiling, and proofreading reports Assist with development of standard calculation templates using primarily Mathcad and Excel Assistance with administrative work Some travel may be required Required Skills/Experience: Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor's program Possess good oral and written communication skills and literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of programs Ability to work with direction as part of a team Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including office and field work A strong work ethic and the desire to perform professionally at a high level. Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior professional work or summer intern work in a related field Junior, senior, and graduate students Other Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license as driving is an essential function of the job Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening The compensation range for this role is between $18.00 to $25.00. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors.
