The Senior Engineering Analyst - Nuclear Operational Analysis Department position is based out of our Byron Clean Energy facility in Byron, IL. What you'll do: Facilitates, executes and/or leads Continuous Improvement activities through analyzing facility and equipment capital needs, maintenance and repair programs, and/or production processes and activities. Works with the plants in development of Capital Appropriation Requests. Develops adequate documentation to justify proposed investments according to Sensient procedures, including defining project scope, preparing project budget, and establishing project schedules. Identifies appropriate vendors (contract engineers, equipment manufacturers, etc.). Manages vendor lead times, contractor scheduling, and payment terms to achieve project objectives. Executes projects according to the developed plans. Coordinates development, procurement and installations. Development of Milestone charts and managing/ tracking capital projects. Manages capital project financial records, including invoicing and budgets. Accurately provides cash flow forecasts for managed projects. Supports plant maintenance by defining reliability requirements for equipment. Optimizes process control parameters in partnership with manufacturing, quality, and R&D to establish Standard Line Conditions. Conduct process center lining and benchmarking. Provide process troubleshooting in support of operations. Determine process bottlenecks, evaluate capability needs and develop action plans to address capability gaps. What you'll bring: At least 2 years of coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Ability to communicate with peers, management, plant employees and contractors is vital. Ability to multi-task numerous projects and understand the urgency around them.
