About the role:
As an Electromechanical Engineering intern, you will perform service center support responsibilities including preparation of technical procedures, drawings, and specifications for equipment testing, use, and maintenance according to schedule, budget, contract, and scope requirements.
You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at our Blairsville facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understanding of blueprints, layouts, sketches and work orders to assess equipment specifications and to determine tooling instructions, tools and materials needed and sequences of operations
* Provide support to product engineering and training by performing activities such as equipment modifications, equipment set up and testing, mock-up preparation, process testing and equipment and process qualifications
* Document equipment performance issues during field implementation, and ensure corrective actions are complete before next scheduled use
* Practice Human Performance Tools, INPO Principals, Industrial Health & Safety
* Operate, maintain and troubleshoot field service equipment, including non-destructive examination (NDE) technology, robotic systems and computer networks
Qualifications:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Complete sophomore year of college

Preferred candidate: Major in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering completing minimum of sophomore year of a Bachelor's Degree. Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates shall possess the following:
1-5+ years of experience in preparation of civil/site development & construction plans for residential and commercial projects utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D, v. 2016 or higher
Extensive technical working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D relative to templates & standards, 3D surface modeling, earthwork analysis, street profile & corridor design, sewer pipe networks, etc.
Excellent word processing and reading comprehension skills
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
