Students will receive “hands-on" experience in the Core Engineering department in the rotating equipment industry. The City of Altoona is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician I to join our Public Works Department. In this role, you will work with our Engineering team to support a variety of technical duties. This includes preparing and reviewing plans and bids, inspecting materials and workmanship of projects, researching and collecting data, and analyzing topographical details of sites. We are looking for someone who has a working knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. Experience with drafting and Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) software, surveying, and construction is preferred. Overview & Responsibilities This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on" experience in the Product Engineering department in the rotating equipment industry. At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world.
