The Commercial Engines Maintenance Data & Services Engineering (MDSE) team is seeking an individual who will be responsible for the development of service bulletins (SBs) to meet program level requirements for various PurePower and Operational Commercial engine programs.
The candidate will be responsible for executing the development of SBs in accordance with industry specifications and FAA regulations, defining maintenance accomplishment instructions and part progression requirements, authoring and publishing SB data in an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication system, and coordinating with customers and suppliers.
In this role, you will be instrumental in solving engineering aftermarket challenges and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of aircraft engines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop SB procedures based on various forms of engineering source data
* Provide ongoing status relative data development timelines in a SB tracker system
* Support SB publishing process with involvement in data integrity check reviews and data error corrections, as well as quality reviews
* Be knowledgeable of general data requirements to ensure proper support of airframers, airline customers and overhaul shops pertaining to SB requirements
Interface with the customer pertaining to SB requirements
* Commitment to customer service and support
Basic Qualifications:
* US Citizenship required due to government contracts
* Typically requires a University Degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience
* 2+ years of experience in a customer support/engine maintenance/task development role
* 2+ years of demonstrated experience project management* Ability to maintain attention to detail, including proofreading and quality standards within a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
