Clario. The Best of ERT & Bioclinica! Join Clario as a Technical Writer for our Engineering Team. This person will work with producers and consumers of Clario core products to create technical documentation for core product releases.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with scrum teams to understand core product releases

- Work closely with internal consumers (esp. PDEs, DDEs, Support, Release Engineering) to understand what they need to know

- Write the following documents for core product releases:

- Release Notes (internal) Installation documents Conceptual and user guides, including (but not limited to): API guides, with code samples Architectural overviews System diagrams

- Meet document deadlines

Qualifications


Bachelors degre 3+ years of related experience Ability to distill complex concepts from a variety of sources into clear, usable documentation Strong writing skills (grammar, punctuation, form, content, structure, etc.) and attention to detail Strong technical knowledge of programming, preferably with programming experience Ability, patience, and persistence to elicit documentation requirements from consumers Ability and knowledge to elicit consumable information from developers Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, Agile environment Proficiency in MS Office (esp. Word, Excel, Visio) and SharePoint 2013 Experience writing in a regulated industry (e.g., Medical Device Software) desirable Experience in an Agile development environment desirable Proficiency in HTML desirable

What We're Looking For


Primary Focus Will Include:

• Part of HNTB's Program Management Office (PMO) supporting the Illinois Tollway $14B Move Illinois Program
• Prepare written and visual content supporting the Illinois Tollway's Chief Engineering Officer in coordination with internal presentations being presented for approval at the monthly Board of Directors Meeting
• Prepare various reports, memos and other material for the Chief Engineering Officer to present to the Board of Directors

What You'll Need


Essential Responsibilities:

• Writes compelling, original and informative copy for a range of communications and outreach materials including speeches, fact sheets, presentations, reports, and press releases.
• Proofreads and edits new and existing copy to ensure accurate, well-researched, and meets client needs.
• Establishes and maintains brand voice and image for consistency in messaging.
• Researches and understands the client's needs and target audiences, utilizing online searches, reviewing existing research, interviewing subject matter experts, and meeting in-person.
• Leads collaboration with internal and external clients to understand content needs and proposes copy concepts in an engaging and persuasive way.
• Interprets creative direction and approaches all projects with a creative eye and attention to detail.
• Follows client-adopted style guides for developing and editing copy
• Conducts high-quality research and fact checking online and in house, taking thorough notes.
• Stays current on writing trends and materials produced by competitors.
• Assists in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content
• May serve as a mentor to other copywriters in sharpening skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Creative Writing, Advertising, English, Journalism or related field
• 6 years of relevant experience
• In lieu of education 10 years of experience

The Commercial Engines Maintenance Data & Services Engineering (MDSE) team is seeking an individual who will be responsible for the development of service bulletins (SBs) to meet program level requirements for various PurePower and Operational Commercial engine programs.

The candidate will be responsible for executing the development of SBs in accordance with industry specifications and FAA regulations, defining maintenance accomplishment instructions and part progression requirements, authoring and publishing SB data in an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication system, and coordinating with customers and suppliers.

In this role, you will be instrumental in solving engineering aftermarket challenges and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of aircraft engines.
Key Responsibilities:

* Develop SB procedures based on various forms of engineering source data

* Provide ongoing status relative data development timelines in a SB tracker system

* Support SB publishing process with involvement in data integrity check reviews and data error corrections, as well as quality reviews

* Be knowledgeable of general data requirements to ensure proper support of airframers, airline customers and overhaul shops pertaining to SB requirements

Interface with the customer pertaining to SB requirements

* Commitment to customer service and support

Basic Qualifications:

* US Citizenship required due to government contracts

* Typically requires a University Degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience

* 2+ years of experience in a customer support/engine maintenance/task development role

* 2+ years of demonstrated experience project management* Ability to maintain attention to detail, including proofreading and quality standards within a dynamic and deadline-driven environment

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

* Availability for and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites both foreign and domestic (5% travel), for durations up to 5 days at a time

Preferred Qualifications:

* Degree concentration in Engineering

* Existing knowledge and experience with reading blueprints and other technical diagrams

* Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment

* Knowledge and understanding of technical publication requirements as it pertains to FAA/TCCA regulatory requirements

* Commercial engine overhaul maintenance experience and hardware knowledge

* Familiarity with ATA and S1000D industry specifications, XML, SGML, and Arbortext

* Demonstrated adaptability and capability to manage multiple priorities in parallel

* Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical P&W customers

* Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work

* Ability and capacity to gain a thorough knowledge of the relevant specialty area
