You will be primarily responsible for…
* Performing Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's) nationwide as well as other property related services.
* Conducting interviews with property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the environmental conditions related to the property and adjacent properties.
* Performing limited screenings for the presence of asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, and lead in drinking water. Screenings may include collection of samples.
* Writing reports, taking into consideration any unique client scope requirements, which convey the environmental assessment and provide exhibits which illustrate or clarify information presented in the body of the report.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field (Environmental Science/Engineering); minimum of three years of related experience performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's). In lieu of degree, five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record).
* Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required.
* Current AHERA, Asbestos Inspector Certification, or OSHA-40-hour certification.
* Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
* Must pass a background check / drug screen.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Professional engineering registration in core discipline, or ability to obtain within one year.

Arch Environmental Group is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated, and hard-working person to join our group of environmental professionals on the clean WATER Environmental Team. The clean WATER Environmental Team is a leading provider of stormwater, wastewater, chemical hygiene and drinking water consulting services, as well as many other engineering and geological, environmental services to our clients throughout the State of Michigan. The position of is expected to prepare reports and manuals for a range of project types that meet the needs of AEG clients and potential clients. Support the development and implementation of new programs as well as assist with the continuation of existing programs. Develop and learn the skills needed to develop new projects, and new clients and develop budgets and proposals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide expert assessment and advisory services for clients on matters pertaining to the management of environmental issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Must hold a valid drivers license and safe driving record.
Must hold either a masters degree in a science-related discipline with 3+ years of full-time work experience in the environmental or related field. - or - bachelors degree in science or engineer-related discipline with 5+ years of full-time work experience in the environmental or related field - or - High School diploma, GED, or equivalent with 7+ years of full-time work experience in the environmental or related field.
Working knowledge of environmental regulations
Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office products, primarily Word & Excel

Position Description:
We are looking for an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources Team to improve infrastructure in our Cleveland office. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and have zero to three years of related experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and/or Revit is preferred. Environmental Equity Project Manager (EJE1) Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFQ1645224 | 89603023Q0075 Environmental Equity Functional Area Services and shall work as a Environmental Equity Project Manager (EJE1).
Conduct a comprehensive survey of federal, state, and local agencies' policies and practices concerning the determination of geographic scope for identifying impacts on environmental justice communities.
Analyze the extent and reach of impacts to resource areas from infrastructure projects on environmental justice communities using methodologies applied by other agencies.
Prepare a detailed report on the findings and conclusions from the survey, including presenting the results and recommendations to FERC staff.
Develop fictional examples of potential FERC infrastructure projects and explain how different methodologies would apply to identify and assess impacts on environmental justice communities.
Collaborate with FERC personnel, the Contracting Officer, and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Assist with technical and energy infrastructure project review support as requested by FERC.

Qualifications
As a Key Personnel position, you will be an essential member of the team, and no substitutions are allowed except in cases of sudden illness, death, or termination of employment.
A Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification is required.
You must have at least 3 years of applicable experience (within the last three years) directly relevant to the task.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be the primary technical and managerial interface between the Contractor, CO, and the COR located at FERC. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate and oversee the completion of tasks within defined timelines.
Proficiency in data analysis and presentation to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) and environmental data analysis tools will be advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
