Position Overview
This role is responsible for preconstruction estimating, project management, and coordination throughout the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with construction managers, subcontractors, and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate project estimates, including takeoffs, pricing, and bid submissions

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in our project planning and bidding process. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with electrical projects, providing critical insights into project feasibility, and contributing to our company's continued growth.
Essential Job Functions:
Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather essential information for estimating.
Analyze project scope and develop a clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
Identify potential risks and opportunities and assess their impact on project costs.
Utilize estimating software and tools to ensure precision and consistency in estimates.
Maintain a database of historical cost data and industry pricing trends for reference.
Participate in bid preparation, including the creation of bid proposals and submission documents.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary.
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to obtain competitive pricing.
Assist in post-bid negotiations and value engineering efforts as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the industrial electrical industry.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of local construction market and suppliers.
