David Moatazedi is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolus (NASDAQ: EOLS). David has nearly twenty years of commercial and executive experience building multiple market leading brands, including his most recent tenure as Senior Vice President of U.S. Medical Aesthetics at Allergan™ where he led the Medical aesthetic portfolio and several multi-billion-dollar acquisitions. David also currently sits on the board of Obalon Therapeutics (NASDAQ: OBLN).

He holds an MBA in Marketing from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach. David resides in Newport Beach with his wife and three children.

Rui Avelar is an Head of Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer at EVOLUS INC, Physician at Vancouver Canucks, and Chief Medical Officer at ANGIOTECH PHARMACEUTICALS INC and is based in Newport Beach, California. He has worked as Rui Avelar, MD,CCFP, DIP SPORTS MED at Sports Medicine, Private Practice; Analyst:Biotechnology at HAYWOOD SECURITIES INC; and Team Physician at Vancouver Canucks, Orca Bay Sports & Enterainment. Rui works or has worked as MEMBER at ACADEMY OF SPORTS MEDICINE, Lecturer at East Carolina University, and Physician at Lithuanian Alliance of America. He attended University of Toronto between 1985 and 1989.
