Key Responsibilities: Farm Operations: Ensure that seapa baskets are clean and in good condition; repair them if necessary. Organize oysters based on their size or quality and re-basket them as needed. Assist with other duties as required, including acting as a deckhand on dredge boats and assisting with longline pipe cutting and installation. Adhere to company health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Keep accurate records of activities and fill out necessary paperwork. Handle various types of farm equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and boats safely and efficiently. Help with organizing the farm area and cleaning up as needed. Be able to work safely and efficiently even in adverse weather conditions typically found on tide beds and boats. Manage the growth and harvesting of clam beds. Set up infrastructure like pipes and longlines for shellfish farming. Collect oysters from the beds and place them in tubs or baskets.
