Recreation Salary Schedule: Category B; step 1: $12.85
Purpose Statement: The job of Field Crew Worker is done for the purpose/s of providing maintenance services with specific responsibility for maintaining facilities in safe operating condition; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job. This job reports to Recreation Director.
Essential Functions:
Assists skilled maintenance workers with projects (e.g. transporting and/or securing materials, completing specific tasks, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects in a safe, efficient manner.
Coordinates with assigned supervisor (e.g. maintaining recreational fields including baseball fields, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
Maintains vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating.
Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and gathering information required to perform functions.
Performs a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. mowing, installing, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
Repairs a variety of recreation program equipment for the purpose of ensuring operational condition of equipment.scorebaord operations
Performs scoreboard operations during all A legion home games and all home legion tournaments.
Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at recreational program site.

Your Day at Lowe's

This position supports the Replenishment department which supplies gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The incumbent performs daily receiving, warehousing, product replenishment, audit, inventory, and documentation. The incumbent uses heavy material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, automatic strapping equipment, and so on. Incumbents may work directly with customers, ecclesiastical leaders, and others to resolve order delays and make order corrections. This position provides entry or training level warehousing experience in which the incumbent performs various receiving, stores, and/or shipping functions under close supervision.
This is a temporary, full-time position with a fixed term. Meaning, employment will conclude either on the specified end date or earlier, if needed.
If selected, you will join the Replenishment department.
Swing Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 4:00PM to 12:30AM
Overtime as business needs dictate. You will be informed ahead of time.
Starting Pay :
$18.00
If selected, there will be an additional $1 shift differential.
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with basic math and computer skills.
Preference will be given to those with previous warehousing, material handling, or related work experience.
Experience in operating motorized material handling equipment including forklifts preferred.
If driving heavy machinery equipment is required, a valid operator's license is required that is appropriate for the vehicle(s) to be driven. Onsite training and certification will be required.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to read and understand English.
Must be able to physically lift/move/push/pull items (up to 50 lbs. alone or occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. with two people)
Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps to store/retrieve items, and operate a pallet jack containing up to 2,500 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be Temple Recommend Worthy or have a current Temple Recommend.

Performs general material handling/warehousing duties involving receiving, storing, and inventorying materials/commodities. Processes materials using postal manifest and meter equipment. Loads and unloads trucks. Reviews and interprets shipping documents, verifies quantities, inspects for damage, and determines country of origin and specific language code for international materials.

Assists in maintaining equipment, building, grounds, and keeps appropriate records as assigned. Incumbents may be required to assist in loading 40 foot trailers for shipment or prepare pallets of assorted materials for worldwide shipping, requiring special knowledge in order to balance the load to meet weight, space, and distribution requirements.
