Purpose of Position: As an Oh Yeah Team Specialist you will be responsible for helping to create a welcoming and unforgettable experience for our guests. This is done, in part, through our front door greeting process and our Howdy Come In Café.

Purpose of position: Ensure that furniture is transported and transitioned in perfect shape resulting in our guests having a legendary delivery experience plus a more beautiful and comfortable home.

Position Title: Store Support Specialist
Reports to: Dock Manager
Purpose of Position: The Store Support Specialist is responsible for keep inventory levels on the sales floor at a maximum. Assists the Visual Merchandiser with moving/arranging product on showroom floor. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse product flow, setting-up of product, wrap and store purchased product until customer pick-up or delivery. Responsible for housekeeping in warehouse and around store.

Main Objectives:
Maintain floor inventory by arranging showroom floor and setting-up incoming product. Transfer product from warehouse to floor, monitor incoming product for structural integrity and/or flaws.
Remove sold product from floor, wrap and store until customer delivery or load product into customer vehicle for customer pickup.
Communicate daily or weekly as needed with the Visual Lead or Manager to coordinate efforts in prioritizing work for reading the floor for incoming merchandise.
Responsible for the clerical side of the warehouse operation documenting product receipt.
Receive and distribute and/or install parts that are ordered for repairing floor samples.

Main Objectives:

Make regular, planned follow-up calls on all customers who have delayed buying. The closing ratio of these calls should be 40%.
Continue to improve professional selling skills through personal development in self-study, making use of various resources (role-play, books, videos, self-study books, cassette tapes, etc.).
Complete all paperwork related to sales and service promptly according to Furniture Mall standards.
Create new ideas that will help improve store image, sales, and operations, and share them with management.
Develop long-term customer relationships.

Position Title: In-Home Solutions Specialist
Reports to: Home Solutions Manager
Purpose of position: To create a personal shopping experience that is unlike any other. To connect with and serve our guests to the best of your ability with the intention of finding the right solutions for everyone's needs.
Job Type: Full-time. Schedules include evenings and weekends with two days off (in a row, if desired) during the weekdays.
Main Objectives:
Be prepared to always serve customer needs in a way that ends in a happy guest.
Create a personalized shopping experience for the guest who desires that “HGTV” experience including but not limited to floor plans and visits to the home for measurements.
In-home visits during delivery may be required depending on the guest and their needs.
With management, set sales and service objectives monthly, annually and achieve those objectives.
Meet minimum monthly objectives within first 90 days of being active on the floor.
Be able to gain rapport, discover customer needs and satisfy those customer needs.
Know product line features and benefits for all products on the sales floor.
Be knowledgeable of general principles of home decor and design i.e. furniture, accents, color schemes etc.
Be knowledgeable of construction and comfort levels of all mattress and furniture models on the floor and be able to qualify and recommend the right match for your customer.
Become a professional salesperson using all selling principles of the Guest Solutions Process.
Make regular, planned follow-up calls on all customers who have delayed buying. The closing ratio of these calls should be 40%.
Continue to improve professional selling skills through personal development in self-study, making use of various resources (role-play, books, videos, self-study books, cassette tapes, etc.).
Complete all paperwork related to sales and service promptly according to Furniture Mall standards.
Create new ideas that will help improve store image, sales, and operations, and share them with management.
Develop long-term customer relationships.
Develop new customer leads through referrals from satisfied customers.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Some college - preferred
Minimum of one year experience in a retail selling environment --
preferred
6 months experience in the Home Furnishings industry or related academic qualifications -
preferred
Positive attitude and work ethic
Ability to work individually or with a team to achieve a common goal.
Strong communication skills
Basic computer knowledge required
Job Requirements:
Must be able to stand for up to an eight (8) hour shift.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends

Lead the Home Specialists to use the Guest Solutions Process in a manner that results in Happy Guests.
Develop and grow your team's proficiency in serving guests, product knowledge, operations knowledge and meet store goals.

Key Accountabilities:
Maintain an accurate count of individual guest interaction %, thinking with a pencil %, follow up % on a daily/weekly basis.
Assist in hiring and maintaining a sales staff that meets or exceeds individual sales and store objectives.
Upgrade and continually develop the effectiveness of the Guest Solutions Process.
Develop and maintain systems and processes that eliminate mistakes, improves Guest satisfaction, and reduces time and cost.

Maintain a Home Specialist schedule that best meets Guest demand and work family requests.

Maintain a professional setting conducive to guest satisfaction and proper image in the store.
Implement and reinforce the organization's “driving force” through the Home Specialists.
Improve your personal management capabilities, self-esteem, performance, and communication skills and resolve intra staff conflicts in a way that will improve store performance.
Enhance organization performance through education, work family and personal development.
Organize and keep clear channels of communication, authority, and responsibility within the organization.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail management or similar field --
