Union, great pay, overtime seasonal, paid holidays, up to 4 weeks vacation seniority based, 4 pto days, quick job progression in most departments.
Medical is 80/20 you pay 20, managers are managers, schedule changes can be as often as every 6 months-year. Normal schedule is swing shift 6 day shifts/2days off/7afternoons /2days off/7 midnights 4 days off… Most jobs have some element of danger/injury risk.

Too much too put. But it does have a solid culture. Also some fd up parts as well.
Not hard to get in when we are hiring. Can move up quickly if willing to learn on the job. Just be available for swing shifts and you will get a chance.
From what I have seen we are above average. Starting pay is around $22 and I currently make $32 in my position after 3 years with company.
My building in michigan is mostly white. Followed by black. The company is based in South America and a lot of the big bosses you never meet are of that decent.
Paycheck, affordable or preferably paid time off with my family. Hard dangerous work but worth it to live a bit above average.
