Sorts apparel into salable and salvage categories. Provides quality assurance by checking for tears, stains, wetness, smell, soiled, broken zippers, and missing buttons. Items must be flaw-free.
Hangs and tags quality donations quickly, according to agency standards, while meeting or exceeding individual production targets.
Always maintain the processing area in a neat and clean condition. The station should always be ready for the next shift.

COMPASS provides services to all survivors of rape and sexual abuse and their loved ones in Stark, Tuscarawas, and Carroll Counties. Their programs include crisis intervention and advocacy, education, and prevention.
We are seeking a full-time Outreach and Prevention Specialist to educate and raise awareness of sexual violence on college campuses and provide prevention programming on a community/statewide level.
Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the effects of sexual violence on the victim, the family, and the community. They will carry on our mission to promote the healing of individuals impacted by sexual violence and to create social change. This individual will also support and carry out our vision of a community where all people can live free of sexual violence.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with community agencies and campuses to provide rape crisis services to survivors within the community who may not be able to access services otherwise.
Provide community and campus resources, as well as ongoing follow-up, for the survivor.
Complete all necessary documentation and reporting forms as required by the agency and funding sources.
Provide accompaniment and assistance to the survivor and/or co-survivors (such as parents, custodians, legal guardians, and spouses) throughout the Title IX process and law enforcement and judicial process, including medical exams.
Network and collaborate with community organizations to establish prevention opportunities
Collaborate with the prevention staff to complete the deliverables outlined in funding guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, practices, and safety/security regulations.
Maintain client confidentiality of people served.
Provide coverage on the 24-hour crisis line and provide hospital advocacy when assigned.
Carry out other assignments as required by the supervisor, following the agency's goals and purpose.
