To be considered for our Construction Engineer opportunity, we are seeking candidates who meet the following basic qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. * EIT certification desired, PE preferred. * A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction and designing transportation and/or municipal projects. * Experience as an Assistant Resident Engineer. * Highway Technician Certifications preferred. * Experience with MicroStation software. Lochner - learn more about us Your Impact: Conduct field visits to project sites to observe project conditions. Produce highway drainage designs, models, calculations and Phase I Drainage Studies. Produce drainage and utility plans. Produce drainage schedules. Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses. Prepare drainage related regulatory permits. Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants. Who you are: 8+ years of drainage design experience required IL PE is required BSCE is required CFM is a plus IDOT drainage design experience in Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and stormwater modeling software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM and HY-8. Ability to provide guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. Ability to monitor project progress with respect to project budgets, scope of work, and schedules.
