What You'll Do
Evaluate and interpret customer artwork files, handling preflight, color analysis, color correction, and typesetting for production.
Deliver a world-class pre-press operation by producing high-quality plates for flexographic printing in both spot and process color.
Prepare and step graphic files using ESKO Automation Engine and DeskPack plug-ins to maximize press efficiency and print accuracy.
Proof and prepare customer-supplied artwork, manipulating files in Illustrator and Photoshop to meet strict print and tooling requirements.
Build and prepare foil, emboss, flexo, and cutting die files, and perform quality checks on incoming tooling to ensure readiness.
Color-correct artwork to match Pantone standards and customer samples, and participate in press checks when needed to validate results.
Maintain and organize the font database and implement preventive maintenance procedures for pre-press equipment, documenting compliance.
Own onsite plant production scheduling, coordinating jobs across departments, holding daily meetings with supervisors, and adjusting staffing as priorities shift.
Partner with Customer Service and Estimating to project future schedules, manage “order to be placed by” dates, and keep production proactive.
Reinforce safety and housekeeping standards in department meetings and daily operations to ensure a safe, well-kept work environment.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Bring:
10+ years of experience in the printing, label, or related graphic production industry, with strong pre-press and production coordination background.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
Expert skills in Mac OS along with advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, plus working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of fonts, color theory, industry terminology, and label production tooling such as foil, embossing, flexo plates, and cutting dies.
Working knowledge of ESKO software (preferred, not required) and the ability to communicate functional specifications to IT.
Proven ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while remaining organized, thorough, and deadline-focused.
A collaborative, professional approach with clear communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships across the organization.
Flexibility to support peak seasonal demands and the confidence to see projects through independently from concept to completion.

Conduct weekly store tours with Store Manager and ASM Apparel focused on visual priorities for the week/month. Participates in conference calls with Field Visual Merchandiser on visual priorities and initiatives.
Evaluates and understands store KPIs to make commercial decisions and recommendations based on sound financial judgment in order to drive sales, margin and turns.
Engage in behaviors that are in line with Company's customer service standards, thus providing all athletes with an outstanding store experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or Visual Merchandising
1-3 years experience in Visual Merchandising (preferably in softlines)
A demonstrated understanding of customer and retail merchandising strategies
Strong problem solving skills based on analytics
Ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working independently
Ability to demonstrate strong conflict management skills and negotiate to resolution

JOB SUMMARY

Technical Skills
