This position is responsible for fostering and enhancing sales performance, customer service and achieving revenue and margin goals and objectives for the facility. In this role, the incumbent will require to give the company a dominant presence within the sales area. The individual will also collaborate with other departments to promote company's product line and ensure continued satisfaction and success. Accountabilities: Develop and manage strategic plans, budget, volume and revenue objectives, ensuring targets are met while controlling sales initiatives, in order to achieve budgeted goals. Manage customers' order entry systems, by creating sales orders for customers, assign carriers, and manage daily changes. Conduct weekly market checks/quality report and ranking, to evaluate sales initiatives and identify profitability. Special projects as assigned. Minimum Skills Required: 4-year Degree (Business or related field), from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years fresh produce sales experience (i.e. large retailers, wholesalers, food service and small independent and cash customers). Description Warehouse Order Selector Primary Job Responsibilities: Daily picks products to complete customer orders. Completes this by performing the following duties and responsibilities: Reads and understands customer orders off of the daily pick tickets and shipping requirements of the customer. Gathers and organizes the ordered items onto pallets as needed. Utilizes a pallet jack, electric hand-truck, or forklift to move the product from the main warehouse to the loading area. This position will help the Operations Manager manage and oversee all aspects of production within the location. In this role, will partner with various departments, including Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving and Quality Assurance, to coordinate efforts to improve quality and reduce costs, while maintaining adequate labor and resource utilization, to achieve maximum yields. Accountabilities: Discuss production plan with Production Manager/Operation Manager on a weekly/daily basis. Review production goals with staff, on a daily basis, to determine if goals were met. Ensure consistent availability of quality raw materials and packaging. Ensure compliance with all preparatory and processing procedures. Coordinate sample production and assist with new product development. Partner with Quality Assurance team to monitor processing and finished product temperatures.
