The Instructor/Official will officiate programs for age groups between 3-6 years old. The Baseball Instructor/Official will assist our volunteer coaches each week to ensure a positive, dynamic, and effective instructional experience is delivered. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels. Complete mandatory pre season training sessions (Financially Compensated) Game Officiating: Serve as an official for youth T-Ball & Baseball games, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules. Maintain a professional and unbiased demeanor while officiating games. Address rule violations and conflicts with fairness and diplomacy. Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety of all participants during practices & games. Supervise and manage groups of young athletes, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Address any safety concerns promptly and appropriately. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, participants, and fellow staff members. Provide updates on program activities via Connecteam. Address questions, concerns, and feedback from parents and participants professionally. Qualifications: Previous experience coaching or playing Baseball. Knowledge of Baseball rules and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and parents. A passion for youth sports and the development of young athletes.
