Job Duties
Interpret schematics to build/wire/test complex UL Listed control panels including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, safety circuits, ethernet, etc
Perform power-on and i/o checkout of completed panels
Travel to customer sites (up to 25%) to install power feeders, control panels, and field-wired devices and instrumentation
Assist Controls Engineers with system power-on and commissioning
Preferred Experience
Single and three phase power wiring up to 480v
Control circuit installation and troubleshooting
Power feeder installation using RMC (rigid galvanized, stainless, and pvc-coated), NEMA 1 and NEMA 4x stainless wireway, and ladder cable tray.
Field wiring controls and instrumentation including- motors, control valves, flow meters, analog pressure/temperature sensors, conductivity sensors, chlorine analyzers, chart recorders, etc.
Industrial communication protocols - 4-20mA analog loops, Ethernet/IP (copper and fiber), AS-Interface, IO-Link, legacy DeviceNet and DH+ networks.
Troubleshooting a wide variety of new and legacy industrial automation equipment. PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, safety circuits, instruments, communication networks, etc.
Required Skills
Read and interpret P&IDs, Electrical Schematics, and Technical Documentation.
Accurately bend and install rigid conduit using hand benders, Chicago benders, power benders (Greenlee 555), and power threaders.
Install and terminate power feeders up to 750kcmil.
Install and terminate device field wiring using schematics and product documentation
Familiarity with NEC and UL508a standards
Use multimeters, megohmmeters, loop calibrators, laptop software, etc to troubleshoot/verify/calibrate electrical circuits and devices.
Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and willingness to work closely with customers and other team members in a group environment.

Job Summary:

Essential Functions:

Qualifications:

- Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools.

- PLC programming experience.

Job Description
You will meet your assistant at 6:45 am at the warehouse where you will load the generator into the company vehicle and drive to the customers residence. Therefore, a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required.
Ideally jobs are completed within 8 hours, however based on the complexity of certain jobs and when drive time is factored in, some overtime may be required.
You will use your electrical knowledge and technical skills to understand blueprints/schematics in order to safely and efficiently install the customer's generator.
You will lead by example in a positive manor and mentor/train your assistant to help develop their skill set.
Your performance will be assessed based on your ability to complete each job in a safe, timely, accurate manner which meets or exceeds customer expectations.
You will use your customer service skills to greet the customer when you get onsite, and you will communicate with them through the project to ensure their satisfaction.
We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver excellent customer service. Therefore, attendance and punctuality is also extremely important in this role.
The work will be physical, requiring the ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb a ladder, and when applicable dig trench for gas line/wiring. The job may also require running wiring through attic areas. Work will often be performed outdoors, often in hot temperatures.

Commercial Electrician Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including lighting, power outlets, and energy management systems
Ensure that all electrical work is in compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations
Coordinate with construction project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure electrical work is completed according to project timelines and specifications
Install electrical panels, switches, and other electrical components and fixtures
Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively in the installation of electrical systems
Commercial Electrician Requirements:
3 + Years of Commercial Electrical Experience
Must be able to bend and install pipe efficiently and pull wire
Ability to work well with others, take instruction and work with minimal supervision
Ability to work a 40 hour workweek every week
Strong working knowledge of job site safety - OSHA 10 preferred
Must have ALL tools required for the trade
Must be able to pass background and drug test
Must have OWN reliable transportation

Job Description
We are currently hiring a Commercial Electrician with 35 years of experience in commercial electrical work. Ideal candidates will have experience with new construction, remodels, commercial generator systems, and job site leadership. This position requires strong technical skills, professionalism, and a willingness to travel and work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in compliance with NEC
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Run tests to verify safe and effective installations
Inspect systems for hazards, defects, or malfunctions
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers
Lead or assist in managing job sites (if applicable)
Participate in safety meetings and continuing education
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
35 years of experience in commercial electrical field
Valid Drivers License with no restrictions
Familiarity with NEC and NFPA 70E
Able to stay overnight for out-of-town projects as needed
Willing to travel and work overtime or during emergency events
Able to read blueprints; experience running jobs is a plus
Good communication skills and professional demeanor
Electrical licensing or safety certifications are a plus
Military-experienced candidates encouraged to apply
