Key Responsibilities

● Maintains an inventory of spare parts
● Is available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running order

● Performs and/or directs preventative maintenance on plant facilities and equipment as well as
Mobile/Service DI water treatment equipment.
● Provides leadership to the Maintenance staff and directs the maintenance operations during the

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Preferred:
● Associate's Degree in electrical, industrial / mechanical, engineering, or water treatment
disciplines
● Minimum of 3 years of Electrical install, repair, and maintenance work experience to include
electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and
maintenance experience
● Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly
desired

The Electrical Support Technician will be responsible to work within a project team to provide controls hardware and software support to customers through mainly remote access from LJ Headquarters. This technician will be part of a team of controls engineers having the primary goal of maintaining customer satisfaction. LJ is a growing company with many opportunities for expanding personal knowledge and position in the company. Multiple positions exist at different experience levels. Pay is based on experience level. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Essential Job Functions:
Remotely troubleshoot running customer electrical control systems through remote access and related controls software such as Rockwell Automation Studio 5000.
Support onsite technicians in their ability to troubleshoot customer systems through remote access.
Work with a development team to learn new control designs prior to being installed in the field.
Provide support for new designs in testing new cabinets prior to installation.
Follow company processes and controls work level instructions for maintaining good software revision control and programming styles.
Controlled code incident management with minimal impact to customer's production.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with customer service is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of very demanding customers.
Ability to read electrical prints on paper or in AutoCAD.
Functional electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Competence in industrial machinery controls design.
PLC/HMI programming experience with an emphasis on Rockwell Automation.
Experience with different fieldbus architectures with an emphasis on Ethernet/IP and general networking knowledge.
1 year of controls, or electrical experience, and 1 year of plc programming experience
