Our client located in Chicago is looking for an SAP User Trainer to join their team! We are looking for a candidate that is experienced in providing proper business procedures and education around the proper use of SAP. This role will be providing onsite assessments and support the team by identifying and supporting system changes. This role will be primarily traveling onsite to site locations throughout the US for training sessions -this will include travel 8-9 weeks at a time with a 2 week remote break in-between. Previous experience as a trainer; specifically SAP training experience is highly preferred.
Full Job Description
Reporting to the BPO Team Manager, the successful candidate will support the business by way of providing training on proper business procedures and education around the proper use of SAP. Successful candidate provide on-site assessments and support the team by identifying and supporting system changes.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Create training materials; including process flow, step-by-step instructions and other tools for effective and engaging knowledge transfer.
• Conduct classroom and remote ”go to meeting” training sessions.
• Create and deliver site-specific training in support of roll-outs of SAP to new branches.
• Communicate recommendations for improving SAP training and roll-out process.
• Create, improve and deploy assessment tools, training materials, job aids, etc.
• Travel to Ryerson locations to perform on-site assessments.
• Compile and analyze assessment data and make recommendations for improvement.
• Present assessment findings and recommendations to service center and division managers.
• Assist departmental managers in the creation of action plans for process improvement and knowledge transfer.
• Follow-up with service center personnel on action plan implementation.
• Observe system utilization and communicate recommendations for SAP system enhancements and changes as appropriate.
• Assist with training, testing and other SAP projects.
• Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Associate degree required. Bachelors degree preferred.
• Business experience in a service center environment (Operations and/or Operations Management)
• Extensive onsite travel away from office (75 - 85%)
• Excellent knowledge of and hands-on skills in the SAP SD module skillset a plus.
• Enthusiasm and can do attitude.
• Previous experience as a trainer; specific SAP training experience highly preferred
• Experience leading change management efforts without direct authority over the participants.
• Detail orientation, analytical aptitude and execution skills.

The Principal Trainer is a full-time position with Atlantic Health System (AHS) supporting the ISS Learning and Development Team. The Principal Trainer is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of the curriculum for their assigned applications. The work is accomplished in a highly matrixed team environment and requires outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The Principal Trainer must have exceptional organizational, time management, and research skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Principal Trainer responsibilities include:

* Support multiple Epic post-live operations in a training and build capacity

* Interact with operational managers and departmental leads in a training management fashion

* Design and build innovative curriculum and learning environments, including virtual and eLearning, and/or help manage post live ongoing site-based training efforts to maintain a baseline level of correctness beyond the classroom

* Support Epic users at all stages of their expertise with the application

* The work is accomplished in a team environment and requires excellent problem solving and communication skills with a high level of professionalism

Qualifications

Education:

* Minimum 1-year experience with Epic as a Credentialed Trainer; Epic proficiency preferred

This is a full-time employee position (not a consultant opportunity) on UCHealth's IT Training team as an Instructional Designer. You may be based in Metro Denver, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins. Occasional travel among all UCHealth sites will be required.
