As a Cloud and Infrastructure Architect, you'll be responsible for leading the design, implementation & configuration of cutting-edge Datacenter and Cloud technologies, defining solutions that look and perform superbly across all platforms. You'll work in a highly collaborative environment alongside cross-functional products in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Private Cloud Services etc.), alongside Development Teams as well as DevOps and Infrastructure. The role will drive the development of innovative solutions in cloud and infrastructure technologies. You will engage with Enterprise Architects regarding technical architecture and details of Cloud Migration and Datacenter Transformation.
Essential Functions

Provide solutions as per the requirement given in the areas of Cloud (AWS, Azure, Private Cloud Services etc.) Encompasses architecture, engineering, and provide third level support for operations services for the IT strategy, innovation, operations, and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to business success Engage with Enterprise Architects regarding technical architecture and details of Cloud Migration and Datacenter Transformation Work with application owners/groups to ensure proper architecture and function of hosting infrastructure Develop documentation for best practices as it relates to server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing technologies Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in a wide range of strategic IT infrastructure and operations initiatives Collaborate with team leaders to plan, design, engineer, procure, and deploy technology solutions Drive modernization Maintain the Service Catalog and supports and ensures the catalog and service portfolio are accurate and up to date, which includes the SLA's, OLA's, and underpinning contracts for services offered. Understand and introduce new service offerings and obtain feedback on customer expectations to further build out the catalog and services and adjust SLA's and OLA's accordingly. Responsible for the SLA, OLA, and underpinning contract administration and configuration in ServiceNow across all applications and modules.

Skills & Abilities

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering or related experience 10+ year overall related experience 3-5 years previous experience leading technical teams AWS solutions architect, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL v3 or v4 required Strong analysis, project management, administration, and technology skills Aptitude for translating complex, technical subjects into clear, business-oriented communications The ability to cultivate and build strong working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders Experience defining, tracking and analyzing KPIs and metrics related to I & O Ability to understand the strategy and initiatives of executives and the company and plan and execute strategic initiatives that align and support. Hands-On in widely used DevOps tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Git, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes etc. Strong organizational skills, including an ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Strong business acumen

The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing information systems that adequately support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline8 or more years of applicable experience IT infrastructure architecture experience including Converged and hyper converged infrastructures Complete technical architecture: Deep expertise in two or more technology domains (compute, storage, networking, cloud, and end user computing) but fluency in all technology domains High degree of familiarity, fluency, and experience with modern infrastructure technologies such as Cloud, BYOD, Software Defined Data Center, IaaS, PaaS, Shared Nothing architectures Expertise in several soundness disciplines (TOGAF, recovery and availability, security, etc.) and operational disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.) Previous experience with solutions architecture in the infrastructure domain Ability to balance the long-term strategic objectives and the short-term tactical imperatives Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze the capabilities of new technologies Ability to think strategically and implement iteratively Ability to lead cross functional teams through influence Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting Ability to estimate the financial impact of information system alternatives Ability to perceive the political context of a situation Experienced in driving change across organizational boundaries Experience in standing up new processes and supporting an environment of continuous improvement Exposure to operational technologies like Control systems and SCADA is desired but not mandatory Ability to collaborate with and direct other technologists to ensure synergies across the team Ability to solve problems with innovative ideas to affect change in CMS environments as a result Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems will offer security and will be effectively integrate with current infrastructure and applications Performs a variety of tasks. Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$150,880 - $226,320

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Architect to design and implement information systems to support our growing enterprise infrastructure. The incumbent will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to apply information systems and infrastructure technologies in alignment with The LHC Group's overarching mission and goals.
Essential Functions


The Infrastructure Architect will design and implement complex computer systems and offer infrastructure services. The incumbent will address issues related to information and communication (ICT) security and performance. They will lead software and hardware installations, specification, testing and service transition. They will identify potential technology innovations and engage them with business starkeholders. They will also leas the execution of incident, change, release, problem, performance, and availability management. Additionally, other responsibilities will include:

Work with the complex systems infrastructure and make modifications base on their analysis of technical requirements Develop and organize cloud systems - activities to include cloud adoption planning, managing cloud resource usage and scalability, cloud monitoring, docker/kubernetes container technology, and cloud privacy and security Complete detail analysis of infrastructure design and security standards. Document all the work using required internal and external standards, methods, tools And mandates Collect, monitor and report on performance data - resource usage and failures rates Design and implement complex computer systems and offer infrastructure services Design and implement information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure. Provide and develop the technical infrastructure and system requirements Working in coordination with the enterprise-wide stakeholders in alignment computing needs and requirements



Please note that this position maybe performed through a remote Home office (e.g. home-shored, virtual ). While the preferred location would be based out of headquarters at Lafayette, LA - candidates to work at remote locations within the Dallas, Houston, Denver, or Louisville regions will be considered.


Education & Experience



Experience Required:


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Masters Degree Preferred.

Experience need to be from large scale enterprise organizations Have been involved with the planning and communicating the enterprise infrastructure Roadmap - include details with Servers, Operating Systems, Capacity, Desktop Architecture, Alert Monitoring, Problem Determination, Incident Management, Backup/Recovery Be a strong collaborator and leader with exceptional communications skills ITIL and TOGAF framework and best practices Web technologies (devices, servers, cloud instances, and networking protocols that enable applications and data) experience to include building an enterprise architecture Strong experience in designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions. Planning and supporting processes and adhering to best practices.
