Minimum requirements for the role of Special Inspector should have at least one of the following certifications or experience (or able to obtain within first 6 months):
2+ years of special inspection and/or construction materials testing experience.

Implementation of the Client's Project Management Plan, KLF's Quality Management Plan, contract documents, and the local jurisdiction's requirements.
Contribute to building a high-performing team by mentoring and supporting the Owner's team within the scope of work's space.
Support the Owner's quality team by consulting the project's team leading effective cross-functional communication.

Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.

Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.
Understand and follow SFS's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. Participate in weekly Toolbox talks. Inspectors must know where all related safety documentation is at all times on each project.
Attend seminars from time to time to stay abreast of changing technology, installation and testing approaches.
Train inspector trainees in all applicable aspects of fire protection.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Client Relationship & Business Development
Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria
Operations
Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects
Read and follow work instructions and general processes
Use measuring or testing equipment as needed
Ensure products meet quality standards
Display excellent customer service
Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
Organization & Management
Collect and record data
Technical
Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements
Other
Any other duties as assigned

Quality Inspector
Inspector job in Carey, OH
Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a factories in Carey, OH and Upper Sandusky, OH. A successful Quality Control Inspector should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($15/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:
Monitor production to ensure all documentation is complete.
Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality standards are met
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve product or production related issues.
Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:
1+ years' experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspections, or a similar role is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with quality systems and controls is preferred.
