Position Overview Mechanical Inspector
Were looking for an ICC Certified Mechanical Inspector to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure
projects. In this role, youll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, and compliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution.
What Youll Do
Technical & Field Inspection
Conduct inspections of HVAC, piping, ventilation, plumbing, and fuel gas systems
Evaluate compliance with ICC, NYC Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Codes, and project specifications
Verify sizing, installation, and operations of MEP systems and components
Submit daily inspection reports within
Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training
Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents
Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours with minimal revisions
Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out
Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment
Documentation & Quality Records
Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools
Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.)
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists
Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements

Must Haves
ICC Commercial Mechanical Inspector Certification (Active)
Minimum 3 years of experience in building systems inspection or related field
Familiarity with NYC Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fuel Gas Codes
OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and attention to detail
Willingness to travel to project sites

SUMMARY:
The Quality Inspector IIIperforms inspection of aviation accessoriesin accordance withthe current technical data provided in the Component Maintenance Manuals, Services Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Regulations and Quality procedures acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Quality Inspection is performed to ensure product integrity ismaintainedto all requirements and to ensure that customer requirementshavebeen fullycomplied withprior to completion of inspection function.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Completes first run articles with support from engineering.
Ensure shelf life ismonitoredand expired chemicals are properly segregated throughoutdepartment.
Verify all maintenance and repair tasks have been performed correctly andin accordance withtechnical manuals, engineering drawings, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure traceability and accuracy of all documentationrequiredfor regulatory compliance.

Review and interpret technical documents/drawingsand CMM'sto ensureaccurateinspections.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Inspect products against acceptance criteria to maintain high-quality standards.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders.
Accurately document inspection results using Microsoft Office and other software.
Use precision measurement tools like calipers and pin gauges.
Operate in an ISO 7 cleanroom while following strict gowning procedures.
Support additional quality-related functions as needed.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in science or relevant experience preferred.
Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment.
Proficiency in basic math, measurements, and testing equipment.
Experience in a cleanroom environment is highly desirable.
Medical device or medical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Position Overview Asphalt Inspector
Were looking for an Asphalt Inspector to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure
projects. In this role, youll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, and compliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution.
What Youll Do
Technical & Field Inspection
Observe and inspect hot-mix asphalt (HMA) paving operations to ensure compliance with contract specifications
Use nuclear density gauges to verify in-place asphalt compaction and density
Extract asphalt pavement cores and prepare them for transport to AEISs laboratory for further analysis
Perform sampling and field testing of asphalt and related paving materials
Submit daily inspection reports within
Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training
Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents
Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours with minimal revisions
Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out
Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment
Documentation & Quality Records
Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools
Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.)
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists
Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements
What We're Looking For
Must Haves
NICET Level II Highway Construction (preferred)
NETTCP Paving Inspector (preferred)
Alfred State University HMA Density Inspector (preferred)
2+ years of experience in construction inspection/testing
Experience operating nuclear density gauges (Troxler or Humbolt)
Familiarity with core extraction techniques for asphalt
OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and attention to detail
Willingness to travel to project sites
Bonus Points
NETTCP Asphalt Plant Technician (optional)
NJSAT HMA Construction Technologist (optional)
Experience with public infrastructure projects
Familiarity with structural steel construction practices
