DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, it is essential to possess the personal hand tools typically required of a journeyman electrician. You will be tasked with identifying and diagnosing faults in electrical circuitry and defective components by interpreting technical drawings and schematics, as well as utilizing various testing equipment.
Additionally, you will repair, adjust, or replace any worn or malfunctioning components. Your work will encompass both low-voltage control circuits and industrial-grade high-voltage systems, specifically those operating between 480 volts and 23,000 volts. This includes servicing and cleaning tunnel light fixtures, which involves tasks such as re-lamping, ballast replacement, socket fixture repairs, rewiring, and overall fixture replacement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the installation of electrical devices, fixtures, cables, and conduits, ensuring compliance with established standards and codes within the electrical trade, as well as servicing and maintaining detection and recording devices.
