The position is for an Integration Architect to work on the implementation of FICO software at financial institutions in EMEA. The Integration Architect must be technically proficient in J2EE, Rapid Applications Development RAD, Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) RDBMS and Cloud technology and will work on site, primarily on UNIX, Linux or Windows platforms. The architect forms part of a team that will manage the entire implementation process from project inception to the point the client goes live. Close interaction and collaboration with our clients are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and success for both our clients and FICO.
What You'll Do
Design of the entire technical solution Technical Lead for the FICO engagement, coordinating all technical effort with more junior and offshore technical team members Assist in Integration of the FICO suite of products with backend client systems Consult on installation and configuration of FICO software Consult on installation and configuration of J2EE Application Servers such as WebSphere, JBoss and WebLogicAdvanced configuration and performance troubleshooting of RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server or DB2On and off-site support for FICO products for the duration of the project Delivering consultancy on FICO technology and related platforms Delivering ‘health-checks' on existing installations Advise on configuration of in-house test systems Balancing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. Job DescriptionEvents and messaging systems are key to Discover’s business and technical strategies. They provide a means to enable asynchronous communication across business unit and product area boundaries. In this role in the Enterprise Architecture Technology Strategy organization, you will help drive an evolution of our event and messaging strategies and architecture patterns. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with business partners, senior architects, product owners, and the application engineering community. You are someone with advanced skills around events and messaging with a good understanding of current and emerging technologies. You should also have experience with different runtime models such as Kubernetes and/or public cloud providers.

- Lead the creation of technical strategy for Events/Messaging program and work with product owners to establish implementation roadmaps
