What is an inventory supervisor and how to become one

The inventory supervisor will lead a team of inventory or warehouse employees to receive and record new stock as it is delivered and shipped out. You will record daily deliveries, evaluating new shipments, and analyzing different suppliers. You will perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems. In addition, you will order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus after checking the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages. Detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustment will be done and related to superiors

The inventory supervisor earns an average of $22.94 an hour and $47,717 a year. The educational requirement for the post is a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. You must have an analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
