This role supports key health system risk mitigation programs. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran Responsibilities * Conducting investigations: Lead end-to-end investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct and controlled drug diversion. * Case documentation: Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all investigations, including intake information, interview notes, and supporting documents. * Interviewing: Conduct thorough and professional interviews with all parties involved (complainants, respondents, and witnesses) to gather critical facts. * Evidence analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret evidence, including email, personnel files, attendance records, and other relevant documents. * Report writing: Prepare and present clear, concise, and objective investigative reports with supporting documentation detailing findings and analysis. * Legal compliance: Ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with internal policies and relevant federal, state, and local laws. * Collaboration: Work closely with legal counsel, Human Resources, Risk Management, Office of Privacy and Corporate Compliance and department leaders to ensure consistent and fair handling of investigations and recommendations for corrective action. * Guidance and training: Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and procedures related to sexual misconduct and controlled drug diversion and assist with training to prevent future issues. * Act as a leader and change agent promoting high reliability principles. * Act to overcome barriers to collaboration. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's degree required. Juris Doctorate preferred. EXPERIENCE Five years of investigative experience required. LICENSURE Certification from Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP/SCP) or the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI-CH) preferred.
