Our Lehigh Valley Division, located in Allentown, PA is looking for reliable, motivated and hardworking Rear Load Drivers who play a critical role on the solid waste collection team to support our ongoing success in a family-like company environment while safely and responsibility removing our communities' trash and recycling. This role is specifically for our City of Allentown, long term, contract!
This position will have a flex work week 4 days/5 days and run Monday through Saturday starting at midnight each day.

What You Will Do:
Operate a Rear Load trash truck in accordance with DOT Regulations, Company policy, and in accordance with established standards for excellent customer service on established subscription routes or municipal territories as listed on daily route sheets, special orders, and regular work orders
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the truck, as well as the helpers assigned to the truck
Transport and dump municipal wastes at a regulated transfer station or approved landfill
Coordinate regularly with the Route Supervisor, Dispatch or Operations Manager to ensure all stops are picked up, and to receive any special instructions as well as communicate any questions materials, overweight or oversized items
Obtain load weight tickets and sign for loads and maintains any related records required, i.e. driver's log, route sheets, work orders, special request work, missed pick up logs, etc.
Clean truck daily to ensure the vehicle meets company expectations to include cab, and ensuring that no trash remains in the truck after completion of the route
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections as outlined in the pre- and post-trip vehicle condition report
Report any maintenance issues on the vehicle condition report (VCR) and report it immediately to the route supervisor or operations manager

Qualifications
What You Have:
A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B or equivalent) with air brake endorsement.
Must meet all required DOT physical and medical requirements and pass a substance abuse screening.
As a safety sensitive employee, all drivers are subject to random substance abuse screening under DOT and company policy.
Ability to effectively deal with customers and co-workers.
Requires a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle to prevent damage to truck, equipment, or surrounding items.
Ability to sit in the cab of the truck for long periods. Able to bend, stoop, and climb into and out of the vehicle and body unassisted multiple times a day.
Ability to push/pull heavy wheeled containers requiring heavy pushing/pulling force.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
May be required to exit and enter truck multiple times during a shift and may be required to push/pull wheeled containers weighing up to several hundred pounds into position for pick up.

The Maintenance Supervisor position requires independent judgement and accountability to maintain all equipment and supervise the maintenance functions at our Souderton division. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees fleet maintenance to ensure DOT compliance and safety, is responsible for scheduling and coordination of service schedules, and supervises mechanics, welders, and other shop personnel. This position will also require the ability to perform repairs to equipment during 2nd shift.
Essential Functions:
Maintains the divisions fleet of trucks and equipment by scheduling and overseeing repairs, preventative maintenance, service schedules, and analyzing equipment repairs and to identify and recommend areas for improvement.
Anticipates service problems and develops contingency plan(s) to minimize downtime to equipment.
Is responsible for ensuring inspection requirements are met in accordance with DOT regulations.
Supervises a staff of mechanics, welders, paint, and body repairers. Sets schedules, assigns tasks, provides training and direction in all matters related to maintenance of the fleet.
Maintains a full-service maintenance vehicle (service truck) and assigns crews for on road repairs.
May be required to perform service calls during 2nd shift.
Conducts research into recommended repair techniques and parts to be used based on type of equipment. Works with OEM manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors to keep current with latest methods of repair.
Responsible for ensuring proper housekeeping, organization of shop facilities, tools, and equipment. Ensures all safety procedures are strictly followed and shop personnel are trained in OSHA safety procedures.
Responsible for recommending proper recognition and/or disciplinary action to the maintenance manager, when warranted, in a timely manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, and for ensuring positive morale with shop personnel.
Job Qualifications:
A technical degree in Diesel Technology and a minimum of 2-5 years experience in managing a diesel maintenance shop or similar combination of training and experience.
Ability to bend, stoop, sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Valid CDL "B" license is a plus.
PA state inspection license.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Do:
Manage the day-to-day activities of assigned projects, including but not limited to, purchasing, vendor management and construction processes
Oversee and manage sitework/infrastructure construction projects from start to finish
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and construction crews
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Review civil & construction plans, blueprints, and schematics
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction
Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor hours, and materials used.
Implement OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Ensure equipment is being properly maintained and utilized
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications

Qualifications
You Have/Are:
5+ years commercial construction project management and working foreman experience
Knowledge of all aspects of construction
OSHA, DEP working knowledge
