Winter Camp at the JCCSF offers one-week sessions in both the traditional day camp and specialty camp settings for campers in grades K-5. Winter Camp is in session December 22 - January 2. Our classic day camps feature arts & crafts, STEAM projects, and sports. (Note: No camp December 25 and January 1)
The Sports Specialist will create, organize, and implement one-week sessions of camp. Campers will be introduced to the world of all things sports and hone their skills through hands-on experience. The ideal candidate should have strong classroom management skills and must be able to implement a well-rounded sports curriculum for youth ages 6 - 11.
RESPONSIBILITES
* Be the primary role model for a group of campers, grades K through 5
* Create a safe, supportive environment for campers
* Plan, organize and supervise fun and stimulating activities
* Help lead excursions while ensuring campers' safety
* Set clear, consistent limits and resolve behavioral challenges with help from supervisors
* Take on additional responsibilities as required
REQUIREMENTS
* At least 1 year as an educator
* Knowledge and ability to explain and facilitate age-appropriate design and tool use skills for elementary school-aged campers.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
* Passions for sports, informal education and youth programs.
* Knowledge of summer camps preferred.
* Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Will be working directly with youth ages 5-13. Camps will take place on-site at the JCC and have designated camp rooms. We will utilize the gym at the JCCSF, with most program time in the basketball gym.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand/walk for approximately 6 hours a day. This position entails being actively engaged in the sports programming with the campers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Crafting team objectives and standards aligned with the ethos of the JCCSF youth sports program.

The coaching activities take place indoors, ensuring a comfortable and climate-controlled setting for both coaches and young athletes.

Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. Essential Work Functions:
Design radiation treatment plans to deliver precise levels of radiation doses with optimal beam geometry
Identify and contour normal and dose-limiting structures by utilizing images from one or more data sets
Assume proficiency in image registration with various image data sets to include CT, MRI, and PET
Create and transfer reference images and localization markers for portal verification and treatment delivery
Supervise, perform, or assist in simulations and tumor localization using specified imaging devices
Supervise, perform, or assist in the planning and implementation of the fabrication of compensation filters, custom shields, wedges, and other beam-modifying devices
Communicate with the radiation therapist and assume an advisory role in the implementation of the treatment plan
Perform calculations for the accurate delivery of the prescribed radiation dose
Provide assistance and technical support to the Physicist in radiation safety and protection, qualitative machine calibrations, quality assurance of treatment plans, and radiation oncology equipment

Daily Job Duties:
Responsible for leading and creating in-house activities, walks & community outings.
Supporting clients with activities and daily living skills

Monitor and document physical and emotional wellness of residents and immediately report changes in status
Maintain & order house/food supplies as needed
Organize balanced & healthy menu plans based on the availability of house food supplies
Prepare, cook meals, and store food in compliance with all regulations and program outline while encouraging clients to participate.
Follow response procedures for all home emergencies, medical, natural disaster, fire, and behavioral incidents
Assist with maintenance and sanitation of home and surroundings
Assist with coordination of residents' health care
Assisting with Individual goals
If needed by a resident, immediately assess and attend to the need
Record the event in the log and any needed follow-up

Winter Camp Counselor

Winter Camp at the JCCSF offers one-week sessions in both the traditional day camp and specialty camp settings for campers in grades K-5. Winter Camp is in session December 22 - January 2. Our classic day camps feature arts & crafts, STEAM projects, and sports. (Note: No camp December 25 and January 1)
Camps take place in a variety of locations both indoors (classrooms, basketball gym, art studio, kitchen) and outdoors (field trips, sports field, playgrounds).
As a camp counselor, you'll be helping children create lifelong memories. At the same time, you'll build your leadership skills, boost your resume and have a blast!
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be the primary role model for a group of campers, grades K through 8
* Create a safe, supportive environment for campers
* Plan, organize and supervise fun and age-appropriate activities
* Help lead lesson plans and support indoor and outdoor programming
* Set clear, consistent limits and resolve behavioral challenges with help from supervisors
* Take on additional responsibilities as required
REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires standing for much of the day with frequent walks to local parks. Counselors will need to stay active and engaged with campers throughout the day.

Guard the pool by performing patron surveillance, consistently enforcing safety rules, and providing appropriate supervision for the pool and spa areas. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring a safe and fun environment in and around the pool area. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform Primary and Secondary duties as stated in Lifeguard Expectations.
* Perform patron surveillance.
* Be on deck, in proper JCCSF lifeguard uniform, and ready to work by the start of each shift.
* Ensure safety in and around the pool area at all times.
* Rescue swimmers who need assistance.
* Render first aid and CPR as necessary in and outside of Aquatics Department. Anticipate hazardous conditions and take steps to reduce unnecessary risks.
* Proactively assist lap swimmers with finding a spot to swim in the lap pool by speed/ability.
* Maintain the pool area so that the area is kept clean and safe at all times.
* Check pool chemicals as scheduled.
* Maintain ongoing record books for pool usage as scheduled.
* Complete all required reports in a timely, professional manner.
* Create a warm and welcoming environment for all members.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work takes place in and near the JCCSF's indoor swimming pools. This is a public-facing position with regular contact with program participants, guests, and staff, and ongoing interactions with families and children.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to carry out all mandatory duties of a certified lifeguard, including in-water rescues. Ability to lift and transport weights up to 50 lbs.
STATUS
Non-benefited, non-exempt position.
HOURS
Varied shifts available. Part-time, flexible hours.

Pool is open seven days per week.
