Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Forensic Investigation

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team, specializing in forensic investigation and analysis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed geotechnical analyses, evaluating site conditions, and providing expert opinions on construction-related issues.
Responsibilities:

* Conduct advanced geotechnical analysis and evaluate site conditions for construction projects

* Develop, analyze, and evaluate detailed construction documents, drawings, and specifications

* Provide expert opinions on construction-related issues, including settlement, heave, soil erosion, and foundation failures

* Evaluate and provide remediation scope(s) with underpinning, micro piles, injection piers, grout injection, etc. * Prepare and provide forensic report(s) as required

* Support the construction administration phase of projects and prepare engineering reports

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex structural design problems

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field

* PE license required in state of residence, with ability to obtain additional licenses as needed

* Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical design and analysis, with a focus on forensic investigation

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to travel within the State, with potential for regional travel
