Overview:
The Student Event Coordinator (Labor) is a seasonal, regular student labor position that serves as the Event Coordinator within the Housing & Dining food venue, Sidelines. This position requires heavy, physical and/or manual labor. Hours per Week: 5 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with marketing of karaoke/trivia events
* Set up and test equipment prior to events
* Host/oversee karaoke/trivia events on Tuesday or Thursday weekly
* Clean up and shut down after events
* Follow-up with Suites Hall Director and/or Facilities Director if any issues or suggestions arise
Qualifications:
* Great communication skills
* Problem-solving ability
* Ability to handle stress and remain calm
* Good customer service skills
* Dependable
* Punctual
