Weblogic Administrator

Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Weblogic Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will design, build, administer, and support Oracle Weblogic servers in both stand-alone and clustered environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Weblogic administration, with experience in designing and building complex systems.
Responsibilities:

* Design, build, administer, and support Oracle Weblogic Server in a stand-alone and clustered configuration

* Administer load balancing, failover, and security

* Establish disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity

* Monitor the performance of weblogic servers and ensure a stable platform for our production environment

* Work with administrators from other groups during problem resolution

* Participate in on-call rotations

* Design, build, and administer Weblogic server instances in Weblogic clusters for high availability

* Configure Weblogic server instances in Weblogic clusters for high availability

* Proficient in application deployment and deploying web services

* Work with OS system administrators to resolve issues

* Knowledge in the use of Linux and Windows in an application administration capacity

Qualifications:

* 4+ years in Information Technology with 3+ years in Weblogic Server Administration

* Working knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux for the weblogic environment

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Detailed oriented and organized

* Able to multi-task and work independently in multiple programs and projects of varying degrees of complexity
