We are currently building our talent pool of those who are interested in becoming a JBS Coordinator, and hiring in some locations.
Coordinators will get salary, commission, A fuel card, a company owned vehicle, and a company credit card for all company expenses.
Purpose of the Coordinator Position: To build the organizational structure, activity, and influence of The John Birch Society within his assigned territory, i.e., building, motivating, and managing an effective grassroots organization.
General Responsibilities:
The Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment of members and the building of chapters and sections. You will be directly and primarily responsible for the growth and health of the organization within his/her territory.
Find, train, motivate and supervise chapter leaders and section leaders. The Coordinator is accountable for their productivity and will work with them regularly. You will then evaluate each volunteer leader's effectiveness and will implement training programs to improve their skills every quarter.
The Coordinator's priority is to establish new chapters and strengthen existing chapters. His/her secondary responsibilities include establishing committees such as SYLP, Con-Con, Get US Out, etc.
As a leader, the Coordinator is responsible for the influence that the organization exercises. He/her must find and develop leaders who will assume responsibility for the success of local projects.
Coordinators must not lead chapters, speakers' committees, or other local projects; they are professionals, not paid volunteers!
Develop effective leadership for standing committees and special activities (e.g., Speakers Bureau, Businessmen's Seminars, Council Dinners, Executive Meetings, subscription drives).
The Coordinator must cooperate with all races and religions in a manner of goodwill, consistent with The John Birch Society's aims.
Develop a growing base of financial support through donations and or Continued Support Club (CSC) contributions to be self-funded.
Requirements:
The Coordinator must be knowledgeable with the agenda of the John Birch Society.
The Coordinator must be able to speak to people, react to questions, and be comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.
The Coordinator must be a self-starter and able to work on their own.
The Coordinator must live within his/her territory's primary zone that has the most significant potential for success or willing to move to open territories. The location will be a prerequisite of his employment.
Coordinators will get salary, commission, A fuel card, a company owned vehicle, and a company credit card for all company expenses.
Travel is a necessary part of the Coordinator's duties. In general, two weeks per month work schedule is within your home zone; the remaining time could be requiring lodging. The travel schedule is dependent based on activity or events that require greater attention for success. We recommend that each Coordinator have available a vehicle that is in good working order and meets State safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Executive Support and External Relations
Coordinate internal/external virtual and in-person meetings and events; draft correspondence, talking points, and follow-ups; maintain contact lists and relationship histories.
Collaborate with various departments to gather data and insights for presentations and meetings.
Serve as a liaison between the Executive office and other departments and external partners.
Represent the executive office on cross functional teams including coordinating Executive involvement.
Manage the CEO's calendar, prioritize requests, schedule and reschedule as needed, and prepare daily briefings, agendas, and materials.
Board Meeting Coordination
Partner with CEO and leadership to schedule board and committee meetings.
Produce agendas, packets, and supporting materials.
Serve as liaison for board members, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
Maintain accurate records of board actions and compliance documentation.
Office Management
Maintain an organized, efficient office: inventory supplies, place orders, manage vendors, and oversee common spaces.
Coordinate office procedures and shared resources; keep standard operating procedure guides current.
Backup support to accounting, audit and other contract services including preparing check requests, expense tracking, and file maintenance.
Resolve common technical issues, manage licenses, maintain hardware/software, and consult with IT consultants for complex issues.
Maintain shared drives/SharePoint structures and permissions in partnership with data stewards.
Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvements by mapping workflows, identifying friction points, and drafting updated SOPs for review/approval.
Culture and People Support
Assist with recruitment coordination, onboarding checklists, and orientation materials.
Support HR documentation: SOPs, policy updates, annual evaluation timelines, training coordination, and confidential record keeping.
Coordinate compliance items and track completion.
Steward culture-building activities and team gatherings, including coordination, catering, agendas, and communications.
Program and Initiative Support
Assist CEO and leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
Conduct research, compile data, and prepare summaries for decision-making.
Support member requests for operational data, surveys, and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Over four years of experience as an Executive Assistant or office coordinator supporting senior executives, with nonprofit or public sector backgrounds considered an asset.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once, consistently maintaining exceptional mindfulness.
Demonstrates a servant leadership approach, excellent people skills, and composure under pressure.

Your Role

Under the Director of Archives and Records Management, the Associate Director of Records Management leads the Archdiocese Records Management program within our Archives/Chancery Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Appraising, scheduling, and managing all analog and electronic information in accordance with Archdiocesan Records Policies and Procedures. The position is the key liaison to the Central Offices and IT collaborating with staff to preserve audio-visual materials
Lead implementation and improvement of the Archdiocese's Records Management program
Manage guidelines and workflows for the creation and use of electronic records at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee
Manage guidelines and workflows for managing email within the central offices
Research, plan, and propose digital archive software and equipment for management of electronic records
Manage the disposition of records
Liaison with legal counsel to manage litigation holds and to ensure staff compliance

Assist with analog audio, audio-visual, and photograph digitization projects

Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of the mission, structure, and responsibilities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and Archives Office
Knowledge of archives and records management theory, principles, and methods, including how to manage, arrange and describe, and preserve archival collections
Knowledge of archival practices, records maintenance skills, and standards for born-digital records
Expert online research skills

Minimum Qualifications Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or educational administration; Master's Degree preferred.
Two years of occupational experience outside the field of education.
Two years of teaching experience is required, preferably at the community/technical college level.
Demonstrated leadership in the professional setting. Three years of managerial supervisory experience at the community/technical college level is preferred.

Purpose
Chapter advisors utilize their experience, leadership and coaching skills to help collegians develop as sisters and leaders. She also promotes chapter, officer and member success by building and leading a thriving advisory board of alumnae members.
Responsibilities
Mentor and coach chapter officers and members by leading educational conversations that promote reflection and action to prepare them to embrace the roles and responsibilities of membership and develop competency in Gamma Phi Beta's member competencies.
Encourage and reinforce chapter and officer success on a consistent basis by reading monthly officer reports and following up to determine best solutions and praise accomplishments.
Contribute to and foster open communication throughout the chapter and facilitate resolutions by using strong conflict resolution skills and coaching collegiate members to do the same.
Hold the chapter accountable to setting and working toward goals that promote improved chapter operations or culture and completing the chapter operations expectations as outlined in Order of the Crescent.
Ensure chapter officers and members understand and adhere to all international Gamma Phi Beta policies and procedures.
Guide the chapter in developing plans in compliance with international Gamma Phi Beta guidelines and expectations as outlined in the Collegiate Operations Manual and chapter officer resources. These plans include, but are not limited to, chapter bylaws, chapter standing rules, social event registrations, public relations plan, promotional materials, new member education plan, Initiation week plan, Moonball plan, Fidelity completion and Senior Celebration.
Engage in ongoing training and development by reviewing the resources outlined in the chapter advisor training curriculum, actively participating in quarterly regional chapter advisor training calls and attending REAL Leadership events, when applicable.
Recruit and appoint alumnae to the advisory board using available recruitment and update advisory board roster on Beta Base when an advisor assumes or resigns from an advisory board role.
Oversee the training and development of new advisory board members by ensuring they complete all assigned Fidelity online lessons and complementary training conversations with you and share and review all position-specific resources.
Hold advisory board members accountable to responsibilities and expectations by facilitating regular one-on-one and group check-ins and conduct an annual performance evaluation for executive advisory board members or those without a direct supervisor.
Facilitate a team mentality among advisory board members by leading regular group meetings, team building activities and an annual advisory board training and retreat.
Expectations
This role requires 10-20 hours per week, on average, during the academic year.
Travel: Volunteers in this role will be expected to travel up to nine days per year.
Learn and utilize Beta Base (chapter reporting system) and OmegaFi (financial management platform) for assigned chapter.
Complete all Fidelity volunteer online lessons.
Complete training conversations with collegiate chapter supervisor within six weeks of appointment.
Lead Fidelity training conversations with new advisory board members.
Lead annual advisory board meeting and regularly scheduled team meetings.
Attend or designate another advisory board member to attend chapter business meetings, executive council meetings, executive council hearings, affiliated house corporation meetings, nominating committee meetings and chapter officer retreats.

WORK SCHEDULE:
YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow has a full schedule of programs during the summer months, including programs that continue on some weekends and holidays. Typical schedule for this position is Mon-Fri (Day Camp) or Sun-Fri (Overnight Camp), with flexibility, and will include day, evening, some overnight, and weekend times. A schedule will be arranged in advance.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Overnight and Day Camp Counselors must be at least 18 years of age. Training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas are desired: camp counseling, teambuilding, experiential education, environmental education, outdoor adventure/recreational activities, waterfront supervision, arts and crafts, campfires, and field sports. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed college course work or a degree in camp management, environmental education, education, recreation or related fields. Previous leadership experience and/or desire to work with youth and teens is required. Must be a positive role-model, flexible, energetic, dedicated and a responsible team player. CPR and first aid certifications are required (on site training available). Lifeguarding certification a plus and increases salary. Some online pre-camp training may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lead and participate along with groups of campers in various physical activities and in various indoor/outdoor settings. Such activities include traditional camp activities, canoeing, teambuilding, swimming, and other sports and activities.
