Position summary: A career-minded Water/Wastewater engineer, looking towards advancement, is needed to join JMT's fast growing Water/Wastewater consultant engineering practice. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects/tasks Assessing and identifying collection/distribution system performance deficiencies, predicting future issues, and developing solutions for planning and design projects Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation, water and sewer design, water and water/wastewater pump station and treatment process design, engineering economics, preparation of specifications and engineering report writing Candidates should have a firm grasp of general heavy construction principles; environmental facilities operations-related experience is considered a plus Perform design computations Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools Develop or review the construction cost estimate.
