Day to Days:

Hands-on experience with:
SAPConcur (expense + travel)

Job Overview
The Commercial Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods between regional locations using a various truck types. Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Operate Government or CCS-owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment; gasoline and diesel powered trucks or truck tractors with or without semi-trailers or full trailers, coupled by use of a turntable (fifth wheel) or pivotal hook, to transport articles and materials on government and public roads and highways on a daily basis.
Move, load or unload, transfer, transport and stack or un-stack palletized goods, boxes, crates, merchandise, and supplies from one location to another. This includes but is not limited to pallets, mail cages on wheels and equipment that is floor loaded.
Drivers are responsible for the load. To include tying down, dogging and chaining along with other load securing measures.
Reorganize and obtain inventory of stored material to identify discrepancies, etc. as directed.
Coupling truck tractor and semi-trailer or truck and trailer, directing the arranging of and proper security of cargo, controlling the loading and occasionally driving other type and size vehicles for which qualified and licensed, when required by the workload.
Perform housekeeping of work area and may be assigned to support contract requirements in a job-related area such as environmental, safety, or security.
Comprehend and complete Work Orders and Debits and follow instructions to deliver and/or pick-up material at various locations.
Ensure all signatures and notations are documented on the MDAT's for pick up and deliveries
May be cross-utilized in other job areas.
Understand and follow procedures for removing material from storage for shipment or issue in consideration to quantities, units of issue, and types of items shown on issue requests.
Able to operate forklifts, rider pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks to accomplish loading and unloading to their trucks.
Adhere to established CCS safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.
Able to support our after hour move requirements for our customer.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Valid CDL Class A License.
Three (3) years within the last seven (7) years of work experience in the field of Heavy Vehicle operations, i.e. tractor trailers, landolls, flatbeds, etc.
Ability to operate 25,000 lbs. forklift and complete the OSHA-approved forklift truck operator safety training program and be fully competent in the operation of said material handling equipment.
Must be able to work in an outside setting, requiring exertion of moderate to heavy physical effort, with some exposure to dirt and fumes.
Familiarity with basic mathematical functions is required.
Ability to work with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.
