Ensure adequate cross-training of staff to maintain consistent operational coverage. Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination to support uninterrupted testing operations. Collaborate with laboratory leadership, quality, and operations teams to support inspections, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, biology, chemistry, or a related life science field meeting CLIA requirements. Master's degree or doctoral degree in a relevant scientific discipline preferred but not required. Minimum of two years of laboratory management or supervisory experience in a clinical or regulated laboratory environment. Experience in a high complexity CLIA laboratory preferred. Proficiency with laboratory information systems and standard office software, including Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, remain detail-oriented, and lead in a dynamic environment. Perform other duties as assigned. * High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) * Overall GPA of 3.0 or above and/or a minimum of a "B" in the course to be tutored. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
