WHAT YOU'LL DO
Laborers are instrumental to the success of every Dowbuilt project. Day-to-day, you will:
Clean up the site, load/unload materials weighing 50 lbs+, install property protection and organize tools and materials
Provide assistance with sitework (i.e., digging a trench)
Be proactive; what needs to be done first? What needs to be done next?
Work in an organized fashion and be accountable for your work
Clearly communicate ideas and information; be inquisitive and resourceful
Work safely and keep teammates safe
Assist in maintaining job site security (i.e., ensure safety of all people, tools, and materials)
Occasionally drive a company vehicle, depending on site location (must be able to provide a clean motor vehicle report prior to approval)

Summary:
The engineering assembler is a senior assembler with broad experience in high-complexity mechanical and electrical assembly. You work independently on all production types, supports engineering change implementation, lead training efforts, and act as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and quality.
Requirements
Serve as the go-to technical expert for mechanical and electrical assembly issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams on new designs, prototypes, and process improvements.
Take lead on high-mix, low-volume complex builds and non-standard assemblies.
Lead root cause analysis of assembly-related defects and develop corrective actions.
Perform advanced soldering (e.g., fine pitch, coaxial cable termination, PCB rework).
Champion adherence to IPC standards and conduct internal audits or checks if certified.
Coordinate training and onboarding for Levels 1 and 2; may support performance evaluations.
Suggest and implement process or tool improvements that reduce build times or improve quality.
Maintain compliance and drive best practices in ESD, safety, and ergonomic practices.
Participate in root cause analysis of assembly-related defects and work with engineering to develop corrective actions.

Education And/Or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift weights up to 100 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, twist, bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Working Conditions
May require extensive work hours during peak business planning cycles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts or in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.
