Schedule: 12 hours shifts days 7am-7pm (may work over) nights Overtime is Mandatory Only work 7 days in a 14-day rotation Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Remove air from bags and seal Make sure bags are sealed completely and placed in correct bin Check for proper identification on sealed bags Print product name on chemical setup sheet at the start of each production run Assist lead operator as needed during setup of each production run Check the first bag of every bin and document the weight Correct problems on the line caused by chemical over/under weighments Notify lead operator or supervisor when errors on production line happen repeatedly Correct problems caused by chemical over/under weight's/calibrate scales Needs to be aware of the lines needs so it does not run out of material Communicates with lead operator as to what he/she needs to keep line running Make sure materials are put on line in the right place for each hopper/feeder Keeps hoppers filled and helps empty them on changeovers Perform a physical set up check using recipe sheet used by the line leader Keep feeders/product properly tagged at all times Report to lead operator any nonconforming material or excessive waste Work any line/area as assigned by supervisor Makes sure work area stays clean Understands, promotes, and utilizes risk opportunity management theories/processes relevant to their position. The A&D is responsible for the erection and dismantling of lattice cranes for construction projects, manufacturing plants, or shipyards. This individual is engaged in the lifting and moving of materials, signaling of crane, and the utilization of hand tools. The A&D typically works under direct supervision, expected to work long hours, and subject to working weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: * Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials. * Test connectivity to ensure safety and reliability. * Attach and/or detach lattice from the crane to prepare for a construction project or storage in the yard while using hand and power tools. * Angle, dip, and raise suspended loads to maneuver over, under, and/or around obstacles, using multi-point suspension techniques. * Align, level, and anchor equipment. * Clean and dress machine surfaces and component parts. * Attach pins to lattice or jib using hand tools or other device. * Dismantle and store lattice and other equipment after use. * Familiar with heavy lift plans and procedures. * Assists with the set-up of crane. * Ability to read, interpret and follow procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation. * Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential: * Must have 1-3 years of crane or heavy lift experience. * Must have proficient oral and written communication skills. * Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test. Desired: * Prefer candidates with at least an associate's degree and 1-3 years of erection and dismantling experience. * Safety training and certification preferred.
