Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed. Ensure the line is set up correctly per the filling and packaging instructions Operate filling and packaging equipment continually. Types of equipment could include filler, sleeve labeler, cappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to control weight, closures, or other criteria as required by the specifications. Take samples and keeps area clean Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete. Tasks include assisting carpenters and finishers in daily tasks which include, but are not limited to the following: erecting and setting forms and scaffolding; loading and unloading equipment; placing and finishing of concrete; transporting equipment, materials, and supplies; and ensuring a safe and clean job-site.

The A&D is responsible for the erection and dismantling of lattice cranes for construction projects, manufacturing plants, or shipyards. This individual is engaged in the lifting and moving of materials, signaling of crane, and the utilization of hand tools. The A&D typically works under direct supervision, expected to work long hours, and subject to working weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials. Test connectivity to ensure safety and reliability. Attach and/or detach lattice from the crane to prepare for a construction project or storage in the yard while using hand and power tools. Angle, dip, and raise suspended loads to maneuver over, under, and/or around obstacles, using multi-point suspension techniques. Align, level, and anchor equipment. Clean and dress machine surfaces and component parts. Attach pins to lattice or jib using hand tools or other device. Dismantle and store lattice and other equipment after use. Familiar with heavy lift plans and procedures. Assists with the set-up of crane. Ability to read, interpret and follow procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential: Must have 1-3 years of crane or heavy lift experience. Must have proficient oral and written communication skills. Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test. Desired: Prefer candidates with at least an associate's degree and 1-3 years of erection and dismantling experience. Safety training and certification preferred.
