Production Line Machine Operator The Production Line Machine Operator is responsible for operating the dough production line machines to manufacture food products. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Press switches and turn knobs to start machines to package products. Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions or undesirable tastes to supervisors. Clean materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Transport products and ingredients to production and material handling areas. Collect and examine product samples during production to test them for quality, color, content, texture and consistency. PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER EARN $600 - Come join the team for a successful start of the new 2 nd shift in the Appetizer department! “2 nd Shift Start Up incentive pay” for the Appetizers department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES · Load materials and products into package processing equipment. · Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items. · Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels. · Reporting machine faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff. · Press switches and turn knobs to start machines to package products. · Making minor adjustments to machine settings to handle changes from one type of product or container to another. · Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions or undesirable tastes to supervisors. · Monitor lot numbers, expiration dates and/or manufacturing dates for each product. · Mark and label food products, using marking tools. · Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. · Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. · Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. · Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas. · Seal materials, using a case sealing machine and hand tools. · Clean materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. · Move completed boxes from conveyor line and assemble a pallet of product. · Lift finished products, and packed items manually. · Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
