As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the production team by performing essential manufacturing tasks. **Responsibilities** + Perform production manufacturing tasks, building and installing electrical wire bundles, wire stripping, connector terminations, and soldering on aircraft electrical systems. + Responsible for manufacturing, testing, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and components. + Manufacture and repair aircraft wiring and wiring harnesses. + Perform operational checkout and inspections of aircraft electrical systems, both in-progress and follow-up. + Solder electrical and avionics components. + Troubleshoot aircraft systems discrepancies. + Operate and maintain tools in a safe and serviceable condition. + Assist in building prototypes for initial designs and low volume builds not yet in production. + Participate in field testing/flight testing, which may require some travel. + Support other mechanics/technicians as needed. + Work on semi-routine assignments, following established procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in electronics, troubleshooting, soldering, and using soldering tools. + 1+ year of experience in hand tools, assembly, wire harness, crimping, and medical device assembly. + High School diploma or GED equivalent. + 1 - 2 years hands-on composite fabrication experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. + Knowledge of layup processes and precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, depth gauges). + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. + Computer proficiency and ability to download work instructions. + Experience using hand/power tools (e.g., jitterbug, dotco). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Competency in calculating math dimensions with sample parts, sketches, and verbal instructions. + Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with small team collaboration. + Strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives. + Ownership and responsibility for current and past work products. **Work Environment** Work within a structured 9/80 schedule, enjoying every other Friday off.
