Process mail by sort area requirements and in accordance with company quality process standards
Meet sorting production quota standards
Drive a sit-down style forklift to move packages
Palletize and sort packages of various sizes and weights
Inspect each piece of mail to ensure the labels are affixed correctly and the zip code on the label matches within the system
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures
Duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require
Education and/or Experience
Ability to drive a forklift- some previous experience in a workplace being required.
Ability to be physically active to move heavy loads if needed.

Summary

* Verifies the driver, trailer, and bills are all for that specific carrier and location. Counts freight with the driver and ensures all requirements are followed. Loads the trailer for safe transit and ensures the driver signs all required paperwork.
* Performs all Forklift activities as required. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed; maintain the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment.

Receives load sheet from Warehouse Supervisor and assembles pallets accordingly.

Ensure load is in proper sequence, following special instructions, exceptions and procedures.

Position Summary:
Palletizes orders for final delivery to customers.
Essential Functions:
Receives load sheet from Warehouse Supervisor and assembles pallets accordingly.
Gathers and organizes products from various staging areas and prepares them for loading.
Check the route to ensure all products are at the correct door prior to loading.
Ensure load is in proper sequence, following special instructions, exceptions and procedures.
Scans all products too route with RF Scan Gun.
Submits completed load sheet to invoicing for printing.
Install wrapping or bracing to prevent shifting or damage in transit and label pallets.
Operate warehouse equipment properly to load pallets onto designated trucks.
Handle products to minimize damage. Report damage of product or equipment
Verify all ThermoKing units are operating and report malfunctions to supervision
Performs other duties as assigned.

THE POSITION: Material Handler
The Material Handler will manage loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks within the storage facility. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Their duties and responsibilities often include:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs inventory control: cycle counts, material stocking, and scrapping, at a minimum.
* Assists in managing material expiry, allocation, kitting, and maintain material condition requirements.
* Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
* Inspect received materials.
* Sort and place materials.
* Mark materials with identifying information.
* Record amounts of material or items received and distributed.
* Maintains timing according to the production schedule to ensure on-time logistics.
* Records material handling data and information in a clear, concise, format according to proper SOPs.
* Works in a team based, cross-functional environment to complete kitting and delivery tasks required by shift schedule.
* Inventory -Assist with month end inventory count, prepare warehouse for inventory - clean/sort/get all parts in proper location, make sure parts are labeled properly for the month end cycle count, Place orders for parts as directed by manager, follow up on all orders until received.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Able to read and understand English.
* One year (or more) shipping, receiving and warehouse experience. Factory-specific experience a plus.
* Forklift Certified preferred.
* Must be able to bend and lift 50+ lbs.
* Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, and have workable knowledge of WMS systems and associated business processes.
* Work closely with warehouse Manager troubleshooting and solving receiving and inventory problems.
