Verify truckloads against shipping memos and packing lists, as appropriate. Contact supervisor for decision in questionable cases. Pad, stack and secure transportable goods in position to prevent damage and safety hazards. Load and/or unload goods; may be assisted by a helper when loading or unloading. Obtain truck helper's assistance in exiting the truck and follow his/her directions when backing up. Insure that truck is maintained in a safe and properly working condition; check oil, water and fuel levels, tires, lights and brakes on a daily basis…at least twice a day…Pre and Post Trip Inspections.
