Job Summary
Under direct supervision, maintains the integrity of the organization's warehouses, receives, stores, picks, loads and distributes products and POS materials within the warehouse.
Essential Job Duties
· Accurately loads and unloads trailers of palletized and non-palletized product and POS material. Utilizes manual and power material handling equipment.
· Sorts and places products or POS materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined designated locations.
· Accurately assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, wraps pallets with stretch film and prepares for shipping.

· Complete daily maintenance power equipment checklist. Report defective equipment.

Keeps work area clean and removes trash from work area floor.
Stores supplies in designated areas.
Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions.
Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment.
Reports all job-related injuries/property damage to supervision.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Material movement activities including the receiving, sampling, staging of materials for production. Put-away, shipping, inventory control, housekeeping, warehousing maintenance, recycling/waste transport, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
EOHS responsibilities include understanding and adherence to all facility requirements such as Minimum Safe Behaviors (MSBs), proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with all storage and disposal requirements.
Equipment responsibilities include safe operation, maintenance, and site training for all powered lifts. Also responsible for racking, docks, stretch wrapping, sampling, and labeling systems.
Quality responsibilities include receiving inspections, sampling, daily housekeeping, and cGMP/Micro compliance for all material storage.
Control inventory via accurate physical and SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS) tracking of the quantity and movement of every material.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Physical Effort: Regularly handles weights up to 44 pounds unassisted, with carries up to 50 feet. Material handling devices and assistance of other workers are available for handling especially heavy items. Heavy exertion is frequent. Constant kneeling, crouching, stooping, walking and climbing up and down material handling equipment is required. In addition, extended use of the hands to input data on computers is required. Regular unscheduled overtime may occur.
Working Conditions: Most work is performed indoors, but due to the nature of the business, unloading, loading, moving material on work sites, the incumbent may have long term exposure to weather and temperature extremes. Is exposed to the hazards of fork lifts, trucks and cranes operating in close proximity. Must be careful of splinters, cuts and jamming of fingers or toes in handling of materials.

What you will be doing:
Coordinate Glass (slides and cover glass) for trucks
Pick and pack deliveries
Coordinate physical inventories
Ability to learn and use present system
Prepare outgoing freight for shipping
Load and un-load outgoing and incoming freight.
Operate forklift
Operate powered pallet jacks
Operate order pickers
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Skills you will need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience required.
Ability to lift, push and/or pull, up to 50 lbs
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Must be able to speak, read, and write (legibly) in the English language without assistance
Must have basic computer skills
Must have working mathematical skills for adding, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to be respirator trained
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable and maintain a positive attitude
Ability to clearly document required information
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as documented and trained
Experience with working in chemical manufacturing, preferred
Ability to work overtime as required
