A Commercial Loan Servicer is primarily responsible for accurate input of commercial loans to the bank's core system, performing post-closing audits and tracking policy and file exceptions. In doing so it supports the Relationship Managers, Business Service Representatives and Personal Bankers with accurate and consistent documentation review and compliance with applicable regulations. This position also works closely with the Business Service Representatives to ensure accurate and timely loan disbursement and collection of fees. The position requires strong attention to detail skills, exceptional support of customer-related questions and the ability to handle multiple tasks. This position requires a good knowledge of loan documentation ensuring loan files are scanned and archived properly.
Responsibilities for Commercial Loan Servicer Duties:

Interviews and assists member with applications and Credit union related services in person, by phone, or electronically. Proactively looks for better ways to serve the member.
Reviews all loan applications, including but not limited to regular consumer loans, home equity loans, first and second mortgages, MasterCard applications, and business loan applications for completeness of information. Makes a determination regarding the appropriate loan alternatives according to the need of the member. Calculates terms and applicable finance charges along with insurance products appropriate to the applications. Pulls credit reports. Approves, rejects, and makes counteroffer within loan officer limitations. Communicates loan approval, denial information to loan applicants.

Calls specified companies to obtain property title insurance, surveys, and appraisals. Observes discrepancies in titles or surveys and relays to supervisor.

Makes a determination regarding the appropriate loan alternatives according to the need of the member. Job Description
Performs a variety of clerical duties in conjunction with consumer loan servicing. Coordinates the preparation of loan/lease titles in compliance with policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines, and investor standards by gathering and reviewing necessary documents and information within designated time frames to secure our lien. Pull and review DMV inquires. Communication with staff, customers/clients, RAMS, dealers, DMV's, legal, risk, title companies, etc. to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain additional documents needed to perfect our lien.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically three to five years of related experience
