Duties and responsibilities
* Provide exceptional service to all customers.
* Process credit loan applications and use product knowledge to present loan solutions to current and potential customers.

Working conditions

Loan Originator - Distributed Retail
JG Wentworth Home Lending is licensed to operate in 40 states and would like to expand our operations in our Virginia Beach, VA location. We are currently looking for licensed and experienced Loan Originators (LO) to source and originate residential loans in a customer facing environment. The LO is expected to establish, develop, and maintain a quality network of Realtors, Builders, Developers, CPAs, and other Financial Partners through regular participation in business related development opportunities , community efforts, and association with professional organizations.

Principal Responsibilities:
Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information.
Coordinate customer interaction and interface with all parties involved on each individual loan that is originated from application to closing.
Establish, develop, and maintain client referral relationships with Realtors, Builders, Developers, CPAs, other financial partners and make sales calls on potential and existing customers to develop new or retain existing business.
Stay up to date with changing rules, regulations, and guidelines from FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA as well as to other investors and agencies.
Ensure that all marketing is compliant.
Maintenance of license by following through on all professional conditions and education requirements.
Achieves company quarterly sales/production goals and objectives.
Qualifications
•Current license and in good standing under NMLS and the states of CA, FL, VA and/or multiple other states (a plus)
•Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and lots of energy
•Knowledge of loan products, loan origination process, policies, procedure, underwriting guidelines and documentation requirements
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
