The responsibilities of the Class A CDL Route Driver position include:

CDL B TruckDriver Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and accurate loading, transporting, and unloading of CO2 and equipment for delivery
Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information, and communication with assigned location management (depot)
Complete logs and reports as requested
Maintain basic records of truck mileage, deliveries made, and other business data as needed
Additional responsibilities as assigned
CDL B TruckDriver Qualifications:
Must have had CDL for 24 months and have used CDL for 12 months within the last 24 months
Be at least 21 years of age
Must possess a Class A or B CDL, with tanker and hazmat endorsements
Possess a current DOT medical card
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently maneuver 56-175 pounds
Must be able to pull and retract a fill hose (up to 100 feet)
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen

Essential Functions:
Operate trucks, including long-haul or local delivery vehicles, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
Plan and followoptimalroutes, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
Secure and protect cargo during transit to prevent damage.
Maintainaccuratedelivery records, including mileage logs and cargo documentation.
Adhere to all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any delays.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to operate a straight truck, 3 axle tractor, flatbed trailer, step deck trailer and landoll trailer
Must be able to haul forklifts, boom lifts, small RT/carry deck cranes, fall off loads/countweights, boom and jib sections and A/C units.
Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications
Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
Ability to use a computer and apply relevant software applications
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reports of any malfunctioning equipment as required by Federal and state regulations and company policy
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience operating and driving light to heavy construction-based equipment
Valid Driver's License; specifically hold a CDL Class A.
Current DOT Medical card
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
