Job Description
Cardiovascular Medicine, PLLC is seeking a Registered Sleep Technician (RPSGT) for an exciting new opportunity in our Ancillary Services department at the Moline office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team focused on patient care and sleep disorder management.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain interpretable recordings of patients' nervous system functions.
Perform functions related to the treatment of sleep disorders, including:
Patient assessment and operating diagnostic equipment.
Preparing patients (adult and geriatric) for sleep studies.
Proper titration of CPAP/BiPAP devices and following protocols for titration of oxygen.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Registered Sleep Technician (RPSGT) certification required.
Respiratory Care license for Illinois (required).
Current CPR certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
Licenses, Registrations & Certifications:
Registered Sleep Technician (RPSGT) certification.
Illinois Respiratory Care license (required).
CPR certification (required).

Job Responsibilities Include:
Utilization of advanced nursing skills to appropriately assess, educate, evaluate, diagnose and implement treatment plans for cardiac patients in outpatient setting.
Care delivery will include but not be limited to performance and dictation of history and physicals and ability to hold independent office clinics.

Patient Information Specialist Title: Patient Information Specialist Department: Front Office Reports To: Front Office Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: This individual will greet, instruct, direct and schedule patients and visitors; as well as maintain records and accounts. Speaks directly via phone with patients to coordinate appointments and send to appropriate nurse triage. Inputs data from patient encounter form into the computer. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff.
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. Comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Record and collects patient charges and controls credit extended to patients Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies according to policies and procedures Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Enhance professional growth and development through staff meetings, education programs, conferences, etc.; attends meetings and participates as required. Contribute to team effort by fulfilling other duties as needed.
Work toward continuous quality improvement
Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures

Under general supervision, the Medical Coding Specialist reviews, analyzes, and validates provider documentation to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant coding of diagnoses and procedures. This role supports timely and appropriate reimbursement by assigning correct ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes for professional services in both office and hospital settings. The position also serves as a coding resource for providers, offering education and guidance to support accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Reviews and codes professional services for office and hospital encounters in accordance with official coding guidelines and payer requirements.
Audits medical records prior to billing to ensure documentation supports reported diagnoses, procedures, and Evaluation & Management (E/M) levels.
Applies accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, CPT procedure codes, and HCPCS Level II codes for all services rendered.
Analyzes provider documentation to ensure correct assignment of E/M levels using current CMS and AMA guidelines.
Performs quantitative record analysis to ensure completeness, including patient identifiers, required signatures, dates, and supporting documentation.
Performs qualitative record analysis to assess documentation consistency, clarity, and adequacy relative to services billed.
Ensures coding and documentation compliance with federal and state regulations, CMS guidelines, and payer-specific rules.
Identifies coding trends, errors, or opportunities for improvement and communicates findings to leadership and providers.
Provides education, feedback, and training to providers and staff on documentation and coding best practices.
Collaborates with billing, compliance, and clinical teams to resolve coding-related issues and denials.

Education & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Active professional coding certification required (CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA).
