KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Lube Technicians is the face of a vehicle servicing company, facilitating maintenance and repairs on vehicles for customers as they come into the shop.
As a Lube Technician with Maguire, you will assist customers with low-level service requests including oil changes and other fluid replacements. You will quickly and professionally complete the maintenance tasks customers need to be performed to get safely back on the road.
After services are completed, the Lube Technician is responsible for preparing service reports and invoicing the customer as well as recommending the next service date. The main priority of a Lube Technician is to provide quality maintenance to vehicles, helping to build confidence in the company and garner lifelong customer relationships.
Duties and responsibilities include:
⢠Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
⢠Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
⢠Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
⢠Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
⢠Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries
⢠Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing
⢠Diagnosing existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles' issues
⢠Creating detailed service reports for customers
