Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting on the Med/Surg and Telemetry units, floating as needed Float required to Med/Surg, MS/Tele, IMC, and ED Border areas based on patient needs Night shift schedule with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, 19:00 to 07:30 Every third weekend coverage required Care for medical-surgical, telemetry, and cardiac telemetry patients as well as emergency department boarders Must be willing and able to float to various inpatient units and the emergency department to care for border patients Team members support each other across multiple departments as staffing needs arise First time travelers are not considered for this position Every third weekend and night shift scheduling required Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele and cardiac telemetry experience required ER holding experience required Must have prior travel nursing experience Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms CPI and NIHSS certifications preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-658363.
