Key Responsibilities: Create programs for a variety of EDM machines, including wire, sinker, and hole drilling machines.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and EDM programming data.
Set up and operate EDM machines (wire, sinker, and hole-drilling EDM).
Monitor machining processes and inspect finished parts.
Maintain machinery and conduct minor repairs or adjustments.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Skills & Requirements: Experience with precision machining and EDM equipment.
Familiarity with a variety of materials such as aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 2-year Machine Tool degree or certificate preferred.
Minimum 2 years EDM experience, preferably in a tool & die environment.
Minimum 2 years programming experience preferably with DP Esprit.
Proficiency using solid modeling tools (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.
